After the birth, because of putting on and loosing weight, the tummy muscles will be slackened and became sagged. This will create an un-aesthetic appearance.
The abdominoplasty surgery, removes excess fat and skin, and in most cases restores weakened or separated muscles creating an abdominal profile that is smoother and firmer. Right after the abdominoplasty application an attractive improvement will be seen on the tummy’s appearance. Together with abdominoplasty, a liposuction procedure performed on the back and waist area creates a slim waist.
The abdominoplasty can be performed in two different ways. For the people who has light chaps and less sagging on the upper abdominal area, the mini-abdominaplasty; for serious chaps and more sagging the total abdominaplasty will be performed. In our clinic we are performing the High Lateral
Tension Abdominoplasy technique. With this technique, against the classical surgeries, the waist curve will be formed. The total tummy skin will not be opened, only the middle line will be incised in which the tummy muscles will be tightened. Therefore the blood circulation deficiency risk will be lessened. At the same time both tummy and thigh area will be lifted.
With proper techniques under-skin stitches will be sewed and lesser scars will be left. Abdominoplasty surgery will be performed in hospital under general anesthesia and it takes approximately three hours time. You will stay in the hospital for one or two days. After the surgery you have to wear a corset for two weeks continuously, later on you will wear the corset only during the day-time. You can go back to your normal life in one week or ten days.
The surgical scar will be planned to be hidden under the bikini or underwear and as self-dissolving stitches have been used, it is not necessary to remove the stitches.
